Ramis was born in 1981 in Seoul, Korea. She has been drawing since she was six years old and has always loved drawing. In 2000, she came to Los Angeles and decided to study Character Animation at the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts), and for her, how wonderful it is to be able to breathe life into an animated character! Since graduated, Ramis has been involved in various creative animated projects, and her films have been shown on Nicktoons and other film festivals around the world. She spends her time creating personal works in paintings, drawings, and anything creative, and resides in Atwater Village with a little fellow canine named Gus. I've been enjoying reading her [blog] for some time now. I think knowing the artists' personality helps understand their artworks, and I love when the works reflect their personality. I can sense lot of emotion when I look at Kim's works and I am all about the 'feeling' when it comes to watercolours.
