Vought's paper cuts are best viewed as an installation. Compared to the other paper artists I blogged, her papers carry significance as a group. I've worked with numbers of installation artists and I know how difficult and tedious it can be, installing something of this scale. I love the shadows the letters create on the white wall. It's amazing that she is using paper to make a drawing/writing. The installations (at least from photographs anyways) don't give away that it is created with paper at all. I've love to see her works at HFC gallery. It's fascinating and very engaging. Love it!
