it's been a long long long week.
getting ready for the new exhibitions is always exciting and exhausting at the same time.
spurt of energy put into one week and by the opening, my batteries have run out.... but it is worth it after all.
the opening was a great success, and the fog was simply mystifying.
the heavy fog had made everything withing 5m all disappear. felt like i was in enchanted city.
the fog hasn't totally disappeared this morning, so here's toronto's cn tower with out its top half....

already it's november

my sister and i took milly out for a walk along indian road and to sorauren park where neighbourhood pumpkins were displayed.. and the farmers market for some fresh baguette!

there were many unique pumpkins to see.. would've been amazing if we went after sunset, for real action, but milly had fun with neighbourhood dogs... basically chasing after her... she's still afraid of other dogs coming to say hello... 

i missed out on some halloween action this year.. not that i did anything crazy for the halloweens before... maybe something fun for halloween2011 ;-D

my final finished cups n bowls from my first ceramic class

i am happy how they turned out.

last i threw was in high school, so basically i learned from scratch

now i know how much they shrink and how much glaze i have to apply

they are quite rough, but...

this little bowl is my fave

it's glazed with shino and the colour is just amazing

rose said the grey on the rim is caused by carbon trapping

i've gotten familiar with his work through photos submitted by architects for our architecture exhibitions. most of the photographs i've seen were of contemporary torontonian architecture. i became curious, since i've been seeing his name on the photo credit so often, i looked up his website. besides his organized architectural photographs, i was simply blown away by his non-architectural photographs, especially the ones from greenland and antarctica.

my watch broke few months ago and my wrist has been feeling very lonely for some time now.

yes, these ones are way too expensive for me, but look how pretty +_+
(yes, free time spent searching endlessly on luxury watches that i cannot afford... sigh...)

 but i found this adorable watch from tous... i should go to yorkdale soon to check it out. yay!!
