second batch

my cups and bowls from second ceramic class.
they are much lighter and thinner than the ones from the first class.
i'm getting used to throwing and trimming now.
i love it, except pulling handles... and glazing... it's just tooooooo hard... :,(
next class: large bowls/plates and elaborate decoration.
yay!! >_<

ninja vs ninja

i had so much fun at the new board game cafe on bloor, snakes&lattees.
this game was so cute, simple and fun... there were so many games there... i'd love to try them all... but it will take ages.. their entire wall is covered with games games and games.. this little cozy place is to be one of my fave spot in t.o. however, long waiting line is not...

today was the last day of my second ceramic class. it was so much fun, again, and i want to take more!!!!
last day is glazing day..... i made 13 vessels total... all better than my first batch.. so far...... and hopefully after final firing, they will turn out the way i imagined. i am getting a hang of wedging, throwing, trimming but glazing i find the hardest, even professionals are surprised by the outcome of the hot hot hot kiln. anyways.. fingers crossed and hoping for the best results!!!! i forgot to photograph mine at all this time...  :(

yay!

#356 Wearing your boyfriend’s sweatshirt

Ripped sleeves, tattered collars, and faded prints tossed in crumpled piles on the bedroom floor hold meaningful memories of tender touches. Twisting on the couch for a movie, stirring over the stove at dinner, or napping together in the park … all come together to fan the flames of your heart.
Tossing on your boyfriend’s baggy sweatshirt feels like you’re giving them a hug.
Close your eyes and smell the love.
AWESOME!

dressed-up furniture

The theme of “Dressed-up furniture series” is to combine clothes and furniture. It will make you feel fresh by mixing the familiar elements of normal actions like fastening a button and daily furniture like stool, storage and bench. -from kamkam

how adorable!!!!!
